LACEAS is guided by a constitution that promotes accountability, transparency, fair decision-making, participation, proper record keeping, and responsible leadership. The society is led by an Executive Committee entrusted with supporting members, coordinating activities, safeguarding the society’s aims, and acting in the best interests of LACEAS.

The Executive Committee provides leadership in line with the constitution, approved decisions, agreed objectives, and the best interests of members.

Members contribute through meetings, voting, proposals, and the Annual General Meeting, supporting fair participation and collective decision-making.

The Executive Committee provides leadership, coordination, and oversight to support LACEAS members, programmes, governance, welfare, communication, and community impact.
Habeeb Adeyemi
Chairman
Habeeb brings civil engineering experience across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with work spanning highways, renewable energy, and residential infrastructure. As Chairman, he provides leadership, presides over meetings, represents LACEAS where required, and supports an inclusive society built on professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and service.
Olugbenga Sunday
General Secretary
Olugbenga is a structural engineer with experience in analysis, detailing, and building construction. As General Secretary, he maintains records, keeps minutes, issues notices, manages correspondence, and supports clear communication between the Executive Committee and members.
Oluwasesan Atolagbe
Financial Secretary
Oluwasesan brings infrastructure experience across filling stations, residential developments, roads, bridges, and drainage systems. As Financial Secretary, he manages financial records, supports reporting, assists with account reviews, and promotes responsible financial oversight for LACEAS.
Idowu Osadugba
Public Relations Officer
Idowu combines civil engineering knowledge with strong communication and engagement skills. As Public Relations Officer, he supports publicity, social media, member communications, and wider engagement, helping to share the LACEAS story with members, partners, and the professional community.
Quam Adeniran
Welfare Officer
Quam is a civil engineer with the Federal Ministry of Works, Abuja, with expertise in highways and related infrastructure. As Welfare Officer, he supports member welfare, coordinates welfare-related matters fairly and confidentially, and helps build a caring community where members feel valued.

On behalf of the Executive Committee, I warmly welcome you to the official website of the LAUTECH Civil Engineers for Advancement Society (LACEAS). LACEAS brings together LAUTECH civil engineering graduates, students, professionals, alumni, and supporters who share a commitment to professionalism, fellowship, mutual support, career development, and meaningful service.
Founded by alumni of the Civil Engineering programme at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, the society exists to strengthen professional connections, encourage continuous growth, support members, and contribute positively to the wider community.
As Chairman, I am proud to support a community guided by integrity, fairness, accountability, excellence, responsible governance, and service. Through networking, professional development, welfare support, mentorship, and community impact initiatives, LACEAS aims to create lasting value for members and the communities we serve.
